The first year is designed for B.Sc. and BCA graduates who want to build the mathematical, programming and computing foundations needed for M.Tech-level Data Science and AI. It is a planned part of the 3-year programme—not a separate preparatory course.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or an approved equivalent; or BCA / equivalent.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 6.0 CGPA/CPI or 60% aggregate marks (General/OBC), or 5.5 CGPA/CPI or 55% aggregate marks (SC/ST/PwD).
